Welcome to Patina. This is my little nook of the internet – a diary, a wish list, a space for (day)dreaming.
Patina is my little personal project where I share my favorite hotels – visited, loved, and still dreamed of. I am not entirely sure how I’d describe my kind of traveller. I value authenticity and emotion, character with a (little?) scent of intentional luxury. Not all of them are five stars. All of them have soul. And that, for me, is the real luxury. I have started using patina as an adjective. A place either embodies it or it doesn’t. I hope that my hotel archive and aesthetic sensibilities – both visual and emotional – will invite you to (day)dream a little, too.
